Background & Approach

As a behavior consultant, Taylor thrives on working with complex behavior issues, especially those related to aggression. Their shelter background and consultation work give them a grounded, practical perspective on the cases that families often find most challenging.

Taylor holds a BS in Business Administration and a BA in German, along with their Certified Behavior Consultant – Canine (CCPDT) and Accredited Dog Trainer (IAABC) credentials. The dual academic and credentialing background informs their work across both the operational and behavioral sides of Instinct Portland.

Beyond the Clinic

Taylor lives in Vancouver with their partner and two dogs (a Belgian Malinois and a Labrador). Outside of working with Instinct, Taylor enjoys hiking, training their own dogs for dog sports, and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
